Retrieving
Retrieving and field events are specifically designed to test the natural instincts of gundogs.
Retrieving trials are competitions where registered purebred gundogs are tested in natural conditions for obedience and finding and retrieving abilities.
Retrieving ability tests are competitions that may include associate gundogs. These tests are somewhat less demanding than retrieving trials and are a good place to start out with your new gundog friend.
