Health 24/7 – a Dogs Victoria Breeders Education & Health Committee initiative to be run at KCC Park on Friday 24 July 2026.

This event gives Dogs Victoria members the opportunity to have access to book in with veterinary health professionals who will be conducting a range of health testing and services directly from KCC Park in Skye.

 This will enable you to have a ‘one stop shop’ to speak with the professionals about any health concerns with your dog or breed, educate yourself about DNA testing and have access to general services such as vaccinations & microchipping.

 For health testing you will need to make your booking and pre - pay directly through the service providers prior to the event day.

Information on pricing, times and the booking process for each service will be shared on this page as they are confirmed – so keep an eye out for updates.

 

Services to be available on the day include:

 

RESPIRATORY FUNCTION GRADE TESTING - DR ARTHUR HOUSE

RFG Testing - $140.00 per dog 

Bookings will be open from 10th June. Contact Linda Dempsey by phone on 0439 675 855 to book your appointment after this date. 

 

 

VACCINE TITRE TESTING - DR NICOLE ROUS

Small blood test | $150  

Checks existing core vaccine immunity for C3 so you can make more informed vaccination decisions where appropriate.

Titre tests are completed on the day at your booked appointment time.

Please advise staff at booking if your dog requires no clipping. If your dog is needle-sensitive, you may apply EMLA cream to the front leg 30 minutes before the appointment, as this is where blood is usually collected.

GUT MICROBIOME TESTING - DR NICOLE ROUS

Stool test | $200  

Provides insight into gut balance and helps identify imbalances that may influence digestion, skin health, and overall wellbeing.

For this event, Dr. Rous is offering a microbiome-only test at a reduced price. Our advanced gut health kit, which also includes infectious agent screening, is usually $350.

IMPORTANT: Microbiome kits are sent to you after booking and payment. Please collect the sample at home and bring the completed kit with you for drop-off on the day.

VACCINATIONS & MICROCHIPPING - DR CATY SWAIN - 9AM - 6PM

Discounted prices:

Microchipping = $50 per microchip

Vaccinations = $100 per dog or puppy

 

Offering:

C3 vaccines = distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus

C5 vaccines = DHP (as above) plus viral and bacterial kennel cough

KC vaccines = kennel cough (viral and bacterial)

DNA COLLECTOR TRAINING - 9AM - 7PM
Are you a Dogs Victoria member and want to become a trained DNA Collector?
Email behc@dogsvictoria.org.au for further information & an application form. 
Multiple sessions running throughout the day. 
Bookings essential. Maximum 10 people per session.
There is no charge for these training sessions.

 

INFOGENENZ IN ATTENDANCE - 9AM - 3PM in the Lyndhurst Room

Michelle Fremaux – Director at InfogeneNZ is coming from New Zealand to meet anyone who would like more information about DNA testing services InfogeneNZ can offer breeders and dog owners. Take this opportunity to meet Michelle in person and ask her any questions you might have about InfogeneNZ.

 

ORIVET IN ATTENDANCE - 9.30AM - 3PM in the Lyndhurst Room

George Sofronidis Co-Founder & CEO at Orivet will be available to answer your questions, assist with any difficulties you are having or offer tips to help with the testing process. Orivet will be located in the Lyndhurst Rooms between 9.30am and 3pm so you can come past within those times. No pre booking required. 

 

DNA SAMPLE COLLECTION - 9AM - 7PM

Trained & Approved Collectors will be available all day to collect DNA samples for both Orivet and InfogeneNZ.

 

PET FIRST AID TRAINING COURSE - 10AM - 1PM

Leanne from A Dog's Life Pet First Aid & Nutrition will be running a pet first aid course on the day from 10am to 1pm.

$95 per person.

At completion of the course you will receive a certificate, badge and e-book of course topics.

Have a break and have some fun with Sprint Dog on the day.
